Introduction

Microsoft Fabric is a powerful All-in-One Data Platform (SaaS) in the Azure Cloud that combines various Azure components to cover the fields of Data Integration, Data Engineering, Data Science and Business Intelligence. One key component of the Microsoft Fabric architecture is the KQL Queryset. In this tutorial, we will explain step-by-step how to create a KQL Queryset in Fabric.

Step 1: Sign in to Fabric

First, sign in to Microsoft Fabric. The Fabric portal will be opened.

Step 2: Open Real-Time Intelligence Experience

Next, switch to the Real-Time Intelligence experience. To do this, click on the Microsoft Fabric icon on the bottom left and select "Real-Time Intelligence".

Step 3: Select Workspace

Click on the "Workspaces" tab in the left sidebar and select the desired workspace. In our case, we select the workspace "dlnerds_workspace".

Step 4: Create KQL Queryset

Now, let's create a KQL Queryset in the selected workspace "dlnerds_workspace". To do this, navigate to the "Home" tab and click on the "KQL Queryset" card.
