Introduction

Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) is a powerful cloud-based data storage solution designed to handle large-scale analytics, accommodating both structured and unstructured data. In this tutorial, we'll walk through the process of creating an Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) using the Azure portal.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you should:

  • Have an active Azure account (sign up for free if you don’t have one). ☑️
  • Access to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com). ☑️
  • Created a Resource group. ☑️

Step 1: Open Azure Portal

Navigate to the Azure Portal using your web browser and sign in with your Azure credentials (username and password).

Step 2: Create Resource

Under Azure services you can create a new storage account. In order do this, click on Storage accounts.
