Introduction

This tutorial will show you how to easily install Python on your Mac.

Step 1: Open Python website

First, open the official Python website.

Step 2: Choose Python version

In order to choose your preferred Python version, click on Downloads and All releases.

You get an overview of the Python versions. Select the version of your choice. In our case, we choose the Python version 3.11.9.

You will be taken to the page for Python version 3.11.9.

Step 3: Download Python

Scroll all the way down. Choose the version for macOS and it will be downloaded.
